COMME BELLA FILLE SALUTES AT RANDWICK

Comme Bella Fille made it back-to-back victories this campaign when running out a convincing winner over 1600m at Royal Randwick on Saturday. The 4 year-old daughter of Complacent has come back in great order this autumn for trainer John O’Shea winning both her starts this preparation.

Comme Bella Fille has now five of her 14 starts with a further four placings and has amassed A$164366 in prizemoney. Raised and grazed on the rolling hills of Mapperley Stud, Comme Bella Fille was a graduate from the 2019 NZB Ready to Run Sale where she found her way to the care of astute Cambridge conditioner Catherine Cameron.

Initially raced by Dave McKerchar & Janet Alexander in Zealand, Comme Belle Fille was purchased by popular Australian syindicators OTI Racing on the recommendation of prominent bloodstock agent Phil Cataldo following a dynamic maiden win at Matamata.

Complacent stands for $4,000+gst in 2022 and represents excellent value to New Zealand breeders. He is quickly developing a reputation for producing good middle distance horses that are performing well in Australia with the likes of Wascaly, Bronzba and Calm Seeker all registering impressive victories recently
