It didn’t take long for one of Puccini’s first crop to burst onto the scene with an impressive trial performance. Prepared by Peter McKay, he is a talented colt with a tonne of natural speed.
In the first week of trials for 2 year-olds, he matched motors with a top Snitzel colt over 630m. He’s come to hand very quickly and he is one to keep an eye out for in the spring.
Peter Mckay holds him in high regard and has gone on the record as saying he is one of the most talented 2year-olds he has had in the stable. A likely starter in all the main 2year-old group races this summer, he could be the one to fly the flag for his exciting young sire Puccini.
