The old saying “good things come to those who wait” rings true when referring to the suspense involved when waiting for a stallion’s first crop of foals and the wait couldn’t be more worth it!
Born in the wee hours of Tuesday morning, this filly (pictured) is the very first foal by Dual Gr.1 winning Australian Middle Distance Horse of the Year Contributer and is from the Group producing Thunder Gulch mare Shades of Silk (dam of Gr.2 winner Showboy).
“She is a beautiful filly – she has great legs, good bone, has plenty of scope and a beautiful head. It’s every studmaster’s dream to have foals that look like this and we’re more than confident that there will be plenty more cracking types to come.” Simms Davison, Mapperley Studmaster.
